Join us for a cross-sector panelist discussion exploring how recent Budget measures may influence housing affordability, supply and demand, and what this could mean for public, social and community housing.

Clive Morgan
Strategic Development Lead, Birribee Housing
Clive Morgan works in strategic development with Birribee Housing, an Aboriginal community-controlled, not-for-profit community housing provider focused on increasing safe and affordable housing options for Aboriginal people and families across NSW. His work is connected to housing strategy, partnerships and community-led housing outcomes.

John Engeler
Chief Executive Officer, Shelter NSW
John Engeler is the Chief Executive Officer of Shelter NSW, an independent non-profit housing advocacy organisation working towards secure homes for all NSW residents. He joined Shelter NSW as CEO in early 2020 and has spent much of his professional life working across social, affordable and specialist housing. John has a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning and has also undertaken postgraduate legal studies.

Rupa Ganguli
Associate Lecturer, Western Sydney University’s School of Business
Rupa is an Associate Lecturer in Western Sydney University’s School of Business, where she teaches property market analysis and introductory property valuation. Her research focuses on housing markets, property industry practices, housing regulation and equitable housing delivery. She has worked on housing-related projects funded by the Australian Research Council and the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute, and previously held research and consulting roles in the property industry, informing development and investment decisions for public and private sector clients.
