Jenny Wong is responsible for CPA Australia's tax policy and advocacy priorities. Jenny engages with the Australian Taxation Office, Commonwealth Treasury, Inspector General of Taxation and Taxation Ombudsman, Tax Practitioner’s Board and other government departments to help shape tax policy and tax law reform. With extensive experience in professional services, including more than 25 years at KPMG, Jenny can unpack the complexities of the Australian tax system and frequently appears in the media.

Angela Shi is the Founder and CEO of Empathetic AI, a Sydney-based AI company specialising in finance-grade AI solutions for tax, accounting, and financial services. With over 15 years’ experience in FinTech, including CFO roles, Angela now works at the intersection of finance, AI, and responsible adoption, with a strong emphasis on auditability, transparency, and human-in-the-loop decision-making. In addition to her industry work, she lectures in AI for business and collaborates with professional bodies, industry partners, and government stakeholders on real-world AI deployment.
