Summary
Join the CPA Australia Sunshine Coast Branch as we celebrate the end of another successful year with an evening of connection, inspiration and festive cheer.
We are delighted to welcome former Australian Diamond and Sunshine Coast Lightning captain Steph Fretwell as our special guest. Across an outstanding career, Steph represented Australia on 56 occasions, won two premierships with the Lightning and became one of the most respected leaders in Australian netball. Her determination, leadership and commitment to inspiring the next generation have shown young athletes that anything is possible.
Branch committee member Michele Gusman will join Steph for an engaging and personal conversation about her journey—from the highs and challenges of elite sport and leadership to retirement, motherhood and the exciting new chapter ahead.
The evening will also support the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge Society (SCARS), whose representatives will join us to share more about their important work caring for and rehoming animals across our region. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets and win some fantastic prizes, with all raffle proceeds donated to SCARS.
Gather your colleagues and friends and join us for a memorable evening of great food, meaningful networking and an inspiring conversation with one of the Sunshine Coast’s most admired sporting leaders.
In addition, we will acknowledge the significant milestone achievements of our local members.
Included will be a two-course dinner, drink package, networking opportunities, entertainment and a live interview with Steph Fretwell.
