Summary

This webinar, convened by the CPA Australia ESG Committee (New Zealand Division), provides practitioners with up-to-date insights into climate-related disclosures by Aotearoa New Zealand's financial institutions. Drawing on evidence from a comprehensive review undertaken by Mosaic FSI, the session examines how organisations are responding to New Zealand's evolving mandatory climate-related disclosure regime, highlighting leading practices and common implementation challenges.

Participants will gain practical insights into strengthening climate governance and integrating climate risk into strategic decision making. While based on New Zealand evidence, the discussion offers valuable perspectives for the broader Australasian accounting and finance community as climate reporting requirements continue to evolve across the region.
