Partner & Head of Tax at UHY James

Amit Mehta - Partner - Head, Tax is an experienced Tax Advisor who has worked with leading corporates and has exposure to a diverse client base across sectors. A qualified Chartered Accountant, Amit completed his Bachelors in Commerce (Hons.) from Delhi University, India and developed vast experience in corporate tax, cross border taxation, VAT, and other financial engagements over a period of 16 years in the tax and finance domain under tax planning & assessment, budgeting  & projections.

His leadership capabilities and technical insights in strategic planning, operations management, client management and team leadership add value to the service offerings. Amit is an excellent communicator with very strong liaison skills and regularly conducts tax related technical sessions with ICAI and actively speaks on tax related topics at various events.
