Summary
Beyond Tasmania: Building Globally Competitive Businesses
Join your peers for an interactive lunch session exploring what it takes for Tasmanian businesses to successfully scale beyond our island and compete on the global stage.
Hear from two business leaders as they share their growth journeys, the challenges they face today, and the capabilities that have been critical to building internationally competitive organisations.
Then take part in table discussions focused on the barriers preventing Tasmanian businesses from scaling, the skills and capabilities needed for global success, and how CPA Australia can support members in this space.
This is a valuable opportunity to connect with peers, share ideas, and contribute to a conversation about Tasmania’s future business potential.
Facilitated by Amie Scruton FCPA, Tasmanian Divisional Council Deputy President & Founder, Scruton Advisory.
Light lunch included.

- Understand and identify the key factors that enable Tasmanian businesses to scale beyond local markets, including the confidence, capabilities, leadership decisions and opportunities that support expansion nationally and internationally.
- Evaluate the critical capabilities of finance teams required to compete globally and identify practical ways CPA Australia can support members on their journey.
