Amie Scruton FCPA
Last year Amie rounded out 14+ years of service in the Mona Group of companies, where she started as the Company Accountant, building out the finance function from a small base to the capability it required very quickly as the tourist attraction grew to the near half a million visitors a year - very quickly. Amie was then Finance Director for DarkLab, Mona's creative and entertainment agency responsible for Dark Mofo, and the Hanging Garden precinct in Hobart's CBD incorporating the spectacular music venues of the Odeon and Altar Bar.
For her final 6 year stint Amie was CFO and then COO for Art Processors, the group's global experience design and technology arm, taking it from an 8 person startup to a 100+ organisation incorporating a scalable software product business based on the success of Mona's O device. Building on this extraordinary experience, Amie founded Scruton Advisory to support the prosperity and longevity of other Tasmanian organisations of all types and sizes - and loving it. Amie is also the Treasurer of The Unconformity festival, and Laurel House.
Alyssa Mahar ASA
Alyssa Mahar ASA is a Client Manager – Advisory at Synectic Accountants & Advisers, where she specialises in carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, and broader advisory support for businesses. She works with organisations to navigate evolving regulatory and reporting requirements and to move beyond compliance by implementing practical, forward‑looking strategies that improve sustainability and long‑term business performance.
Alyssa also volunteers as Treasurer of the Devonport Chamber of Commerce, contributing to the ongoing development of the local business community.
Ric De Santi
Ric has extensive public sector and not-for-profit experience in governance and executive management.
He has a Bachelor of Business in Accounting, is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a Graduate member of the AICD.
After finishing full time work in 2021 as Deputy Auditor-General, rather than stopping completely he chose to pursue governance related roles.
At present he is a member of four boards (including three associated audit or finance committees) and ten stand-alone audit committees, seven of which are local government audit panels.
Ric’s long association with CPA Australia dates back to 2004 at the Tasmanian Divisional level and includes 2017 to 2021 when he served as a Board Director. In that time he has also served as Tasmanian Divisional President in 2009, 2024 and 2025.
His current involvement with CPA is through his membership of the Tasmanian Public Sector and Not For Profit Committees and CPA’s Reporting and Assurance Centre of Excellence.
Despite all of the above, Ric still finds time to follow his favourite sporting teams, play golf (badly), travel and socialise.
