Held in conjunction with Mental Health Awareness Month, this event highlights the importance of maintaining purpose, social connections and personal wellbeing as you transition into life beyond your professional career. Through a fireside conversation, you will explore how discovering new interests and meaningful opportunities can shape a fulfilling next chapter, with a personal journey showcasing how passion can lead to community connection and contribution.
Hosted by the CPA Australia Malaysian Division Veterans Committee, this gathering is designed for members who are approaching retirement, semi-retired or retired. It provides an opportunity to reflect on life beyond work, explore ways to remain engaged and continue contributing, while strengthening connections within the Veterans community.
Complemented by a guided farm experience and an opportunity to learn about the community impact behind the farm, the event provides time to reconnect, exchange experiences and build meaningful relationships in a relaxed setting.
Note: Members are kindly requested to make their own travel arrangements to and from Bentong.

Alex Yap Kien Tiong FCPA (Aust.)

Alex has over 30 years of experience in accounting, finance, internal audit, risk management and business leadership across international accounting firms and public listed companies.
His professional experience spans diverse industries, including automotive, retail, hospitality, property development, flour milling and poultry integration, giving him broad commercial and strategic expertise. A graduate in Economics from La Trobe University, Australia,
Alex now combines his corporate experience with a passion for sustainable agriculture and community development through Good Growers, promoting purposeful living and creating economic opportunities through farming.

Angelina Ho
Partner, Good Growers PLT
Angelina has over 17 years of experience in the agriculture industry as an agri-preneur, with extensive expertise in commercial farming and sustainable agricultural practices.
She successfully established and managed a commercial farm at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort with a capacity of 100,000 plants, combining technical expertise with hands-on experience in large-scale farming operations.
Holding a Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Angelina is passionate about transforming farming challenges into opportunities and promoting sustainable agriculture through innovation and practical solutions.
